An interesting read, but ultimately this book concentrates on the investigation and not about Denard's life. The author interviews some colourful characters linked to the Comoros murders (including Denard himself in South Africa) in a variety of locations, although the reliability of some of their 'evidence' is questionable and you never feel fully enlightened about the events that took place. Still, it is an interesting read; just do not expect a biographical work about Denard, or to have a tremendous insight into what Denard really got up to/did not get up to.
