Qualitative Research Methods wrapped up in one book

As a PhD student in the Social Sciences, I have needed to investigate qualitative research methodologies for my own research quite recently. Berg's book has provided me with all the detail, ehtical issues and research techniques that I ever wanted to know about, in a clear and concise style. If you are not sure what type of research methods you want to use, start here with Berg. He offers informative text from both schools of thought before proceeding with design, ethics, the practical interviewing in groups and one-to-one, as well as going further afield and looking into case studies, ethnographic strategies and content analysis for example. This third edition has been expanded and revised, and can be used as a handbook for anyone interested in qualitative research techniques either as a stand alone text or in conjunction with similar titles. I like this text in particular, because it guides you every step of the way from design to delivery of the qualitative results and does not presume that you are an experienced researcher. I intend to dip into this handbook well after the current research is completed in the next few months for reference.
