This book has increased my confidence tenfold. It is well indexed and covers every possible question about procedure and practise. A brief flick through prior to a bail app really applies the mind to the whole concept of bail and the right to bail. I also find it makes the prosecutor very nervous!

David Wolchover, long recognised as an authority in various fields of Criminal Law has with Neil Corre produced a superb book dedicated to the most feared area of every new lawyer - BAIL! Whilst reading this book I became aware of my own lack of knowledge in the area and not only did I overcome my fear, but I relished the idea of knowing that the vast majority of my opponents had not! I wish it the very best of success, as I think the authors should be encouraged to write on other legal topics. However, I would be grateful if all bookshops would remove all copies from their shelves so I can maintain my edge!
