Excellent resource - highly recommended

This is a wonderful book. It contains colour-coded sections on subjects such as DIY, the animal kingdom, science, transport - the list goes on. Not only that, but it goes into enormous detail - I have learnt a number of new English words! As an example of the amount of detail, it has a picture of a fork, and not only do you see the word for fork, you also see the words for all the component parts of the fork. The pictures are beautiful and very clear.
One tiny caveat, though - it is very heavy and not at all portable; definitely a reference book, not one to carry about with you.
I am buying myself another copy so I can have one at home and one at work!
I can't recommend it highly enough.

This is an absolutely wonderful book - very practical for anyone of any age. It not only covers the usual things like words for pens, food, animals etc but parts of the body, heating, car parts and accessories, office equipment, tools, plumbing systems. I could go on! A really useful book if living or travelling between two or more of these countries. I wish this had been published a long time ago!
