Who are we to judge?

I have never before written a review in my many years as an Amazon Customer, but I felt although it is not my place to cast any judgement; I must question the review regards "Bookworm Bookworm - Libraries do not want it".
I have never studied grammar, nor can I spell proficiently; but I leave you with this thought.... "WHY does somebody claiming to be a 'Bookworm' of which I am told reading helps teach spelling etc.. AND works as a Librarian, manage to use incorrect grammar missing capitalization and mistaking BYE? This person clearly needs to remember to take the forest out of their own eye before pointing out another person's splinter!
I urge you to not cast judgement and avoid being judged yourself; and instead read Madonna's children's books and appreciate the correct moral codes so many neglect in our daily lives. Adults can learn from them too.

I can not tell you how bad this book is, everything about it from the weak story line to the ugly, skinny pictures is wrong.
Save your money.

The english rose books are great books for girls, my daughter loves them! The previous review said that there are too many words for a picture book, but as a parent whose child easily loses interest in books with too many words and not enough pictures these books are great! Always a good moral to the story too which cannot be bad!

This is such a sweet and heartfelt book,It nearly made me cry when she mentioned about Binah's mum dying. A lovely unique written story and the pics really set the scene. I'm not getting the review about Madonna's books not getting approved in libraries, it's their lose! anyhow I know the main library in Swindon has the last one so maybe they should do abit more research? why have a normal standard childrens book anyhow push the barriers break the rules!Read and learn oxox

Libraries don't want it

I work for the public library service and when Madonna's children books arrive as approvals for review all the professional librarians groan. Why? because they know that Madonna's books are very badly written with too much text for a picture book. Plus, the English Roses series in particular have illustrations where the girls have anorexic bodies with oversize heads. If you want a storybook on morals ask your library/bookshop to recommend a good one. Bye the way I love Madonna's music. She should stick to that!
