Max is a hedgehog, he wants to go to the park but to do that he has to cross the road safely. One problem, the traffic is terrible! He sees humans cross over safe and sound so why can't hedgehogs? He tries lots of things and one time he does get badly hurt on his head and his bottom, which makes him talk strangely. He says things like "Something bot me on the hittom" or "Hip! Hip! Roohay!" Finally, Max finds a solution after a long time so he and his family can go to the park unharmed.

The Hodgeheg is a fantastic book about a family of hedgehogs who want to cross a terrifyingly busy road.They live in the beautiful garden of 5A, but want to go to the park to have fun and food. One morning Max (the main character) decides to cross the road, but a terrible accident occurs... What happens to Max?
We thought this book was funny and exciting. Our favourite part was when all the hegdehogs cross the road. We recommend this book for young children.
We think you should buy this book because it is good value and an excellent story.
