Well worth a try...

I enjoyed this reading very much - though abridged, it retains all the charm of the full book, and Helena Bonham-Carter's reading of it is expressive and easy, with none of the stilted feeling that many narrators can give to children's classics. The unique Yorkshire sound of many of the characters is captured well, without making it difficult for those unfamiliar with that part of the world to understand. I would recommend this reading to anyone, whether hearing the story for the first time or re-visiting an old favourite.
