Puts concpts in context

I found this book very useful while studying public sector economics. I had already been introduced to the basic concepts of economics through other texts. This book provides explanation for concepts by showing how they apply in real world situations which I found easy to understand. It also assembles the economics concepts which are most important to each sector (e.g. healthcare) into a single chapters.

Not recomended

I found this book difficult to follow and would not recomend it!! This was the recomended text for my economics unit on a business studies degree but proved to be too advanced for the unit in question. I strongly urge you to look else where, especially if you are a business student and only doing basic economics. All of my course friends share this opinion.

For a Business Studies Degree I found this book hardgoing. Not easy to find specific Economics topics and although this was the recommended book for the course it wasnt very usefull.
