Another classic form Mary Wesley

The heroine in this book captures the attention of her fellow passengers by pulling the communtication cord on a train to rescue a sheep. Whilst one of the passengers is haunted by this image we discover the woman is in the midst of her own tragedy. Although this isn't the best Mary Wesley novel I've ever read it is certainely a brilliant book. Wesley does not shy away from tackling the big issues, life, sex and death, but does not do so in a morbid way. this book is modern without being full to the brim of heroin addicts and hard core sex, and can be enjoyed by all ages, my Grandma is also a fan!
