The Hornbeam Tree by Susan Lewis
|
Another brilliant book by Susan Lewis - I just can't get enough, she is a wonderful author and I just hope she continues to write cos I'm running out of her books to read.
I had a lump in my throat for most of this one and although you know the character is going to die shortly (won't give too much away!), I was pleased it wasn't written into the end of the book cos I don't think I would have stopped crying! Big softie huh!
Wonderfully written and another MUST read.

If you are a fan of Susan Lewis books you will love this one! On the other hand if you are new to Susan Lewis, this book is a great one to start with. This book centres on the relationship between Katie Kiernan, who is diagnosed with cancer, and her daughter and on the relationship beteen Katie and her sister Michelle, who comes to England to look after Katies daughter Molly after Katue dies. Fans of susan lewis will remember Michelle from previous books, michelle brings into Katies life intrigue due to michelles involvement with tom chambers who has been given explosive government documents. Other characters we have previously meet are elliot and laurie, this novel documents the developemts in their relationship. this ia a very good susan lewis book, read it!

I love Susan Lewis Books

I've never read a bad Susan Lewis book, I've loved them all. I'm always looking out of the next one to come out so I was really pleased when someone bought this for me. As with all her other books I got into this one right away, and couldn't stop reading it. I like that most of the books have characters from previous books. This book is about a mothers relationship with her daughter. If you read Susan Lewis you'll know a lot of her books are about journalists, so the mothers a journalist and her sister and her sisters boyfriend and her friends. These journalists always go further to find out the truth. You find out what happens when they search too far. Well done Susan you've got me hooked, when is the next book out?
