Tries to do too much

This book is not a diet but a sensible healthy eating plan which advocates a well-balanced diet. It also discusses how to use the power of your mind to change your eating habits. The problem is that it doesn't really cover either topic in the necessary detail. The book is full of useful tips and hints, however they are not presented in a logical or coherent way, preventing you from making the most of them and following the advice as a plan. If you just want a book to dip into then this provides information. However, if you really want a plan to follow, then I would recommend reading "GI Jeans diet" (Rosemary Conley) for information on food and "I can make you thin" (Paul McKenna) for ideas on re-programming your mind.
