Customer Reviews:
Grounded guy, touching memoir
The star of one of my favourite films, `Back to the Future', Fox writes a very candid and touching memoir of what life is really like in Hollywood, his meteoric rise, and his awareness and ability to cope with Parkinson's disease.

I stumbled on this grounded and touching memoir by chance, and I enjoyed it enormously. Highly recommended.
WOW this book is so Inspiring
My friend recommended this book to me and I am so glad that I bought it. It gives you a real insight of Michael J Fox's world. It is truly an amazing read. I could not put it down once I started reading it, I got so drawn into it and if you are suffering from such an illness I recommend that you read this book.

The five stars it's been awarded on this site are spot on. Go out and get this book.
A very enjoyable and surprising book.
I read this book after hearing the excerpts on BBC Radio 4's Book Of The Week.
I was surprised at just how intelligently endearing a character MJF turns out to be, much deeper than his acting persona would suggest. He never feels sorry for himself, despite his illness.
His narrative connects with the reader in an honest and revealing way. It will make you laugh, cry but above all, uplift you.
Fantastic Book
I have been a Michael J Fox fan since i was little kid love his movies. I dont normaly read that many books i normaly just watch movies but few days ago i heard the reviews on his book and all the reviews said its really good and as im a massive fan of Michael J Fox i thought id go out and get this book, i got the book and could not put it down once i started reading it so the 5 star reviews were spot on and right, this book takes you into the heart and soul of a fantastic actor and person, This is a book well worth getting if your a michael j fox fan or just a person who has parkinsons who wants to read how a fantastic actor copes with it, its a heart warming book well worth a read and for the price its a total bargin.
SIMPLY INSPIRING
I was given this book by my brother-in-law who raved over it, so despite not being a biography reader (3 read in total out of several hundred fiction books) I gave it a go. Even if you are not a Michael J Fox film fan (I was indifferent)this is a thouroughly well crafted book with an easy writing style which will leave you in awe of his strength of character. I've recommended this book to everyone, its a lesson in positive thinking, being both entertaining, funny and life-afferming. GREAT BOOK!
