After an ambulance driver's head is decapitated in a violent car crash, Special Agents Dana Scully and Fox Mulder are called in to investigate. After a series of incidents all involving a headless man, Mulder comes up with a strange and horrifying solution: the crash victim has the ability to regenerate his missing body parts. Scully, in usual fashion contradicts Mulder's solution with a far more logical explanation. Yet the headless murderer has still to be apprehended, and the killing doesn't stop... This novelization is rather well written, and the only reason that I have not given it a 5-star rating is because it is a novelization (and they tend to be slightly boring and without character).
