Customer Reviews:
Demonic possession
As a Catholic Demonologist,I found this book,The Dark Sacrament, a very good read.
When writing a book of this sort it is difficult to disguise people and places but the authors have done a good job, truly not a book to read alone at night if you are at all nervous, it is definately a book to keep on my bookshelf, excellent!

Even better than the Irish version
I cheated with this book. I bought the Irish version last year and when I saw this new version I had to buy it for a friend in the States. However, I couldn't resist reading through it first and I am certainly glad I did.

The cases are the same, all set in Ireland but there are three new ones. I think they are scarier than the Irish book. The first one is about a girl called Heather who seems to have been a victim of evil that entered her family and took hold.

I was a sceptic before I read the Dark Sacrament and I'm no longer a sceptic. This one book has turned my thinking on its head and led me to re-evaluate my Catholicism that I had lost along the way. The authors I think set out to write a book that would lead a casual reader slowly into this very strange world and I must say full marks for not talking down to the reader. Some of it reads like fiction, I have to say. But I don't think the authors are to blame for this, because they are simply passing on what was told to them. I came away from the book with the feeling that I'd learned so much about things that matter, like the struggle between good and evil and that good will always triumph.
Excellent
Really could not put this book down. It reminds me of Malachi Martin's Hostage to the Devil. Very good narratives in this book with very interesting conclusions. Definately not one for the nervous reader!
