this series of books first appeared in the united kingdom, then in america a year later. for what ever reason, the titles and cover art was changed- causing some confusion to buyers. however, if you do a little research before, you can figure out which is which. the books that use the word "spook" in the title are the uk editions. the american titles and order are:
revenge of the witch
curse of the bane
night of the soul stealer
(the fourth not released yet)
that being said, i do enjoy this series. i wouldn't reccommend it to such a young audience, though. it can get quite descriptive with violence!
i hope this clears up the confusion w/ the titles!

This book is the same as The Spooks Secret, 3rd book of the Wardstone Chronicles. It appears to be marketed as a 'new' book but if you have been following the Chronicles you might find you have already read it!! Quite a disappointment (although of course the Chronicles are great even for those of us who are greatly in excess of 10 years of age!)
