I first read this book as a child. I am now 25 years old. I must say that it is one of the best books that I have ever read. It tells the story of a moose that attends school. Morris the Moose goes through many trials and tribulations during the course of the school day. However, the most important thing that I got out of reading this book is that everyone is different. Children in school tend to be judgemental and hard on anyone who is not "the norm". This book shows that although Morris isn't a "kid" like everyone else, they still accept him and help him with his problems. They all pitch in and make him feel welcome. That is a good message for anyone at ANY age. Truly, a wonderful book!
