I really enjoyed this book, it makes you see the world in a different light, and however the boy Tayo feels, you feel it with him. Cathy is an amazing writer and an amazing person.
You will all love this book.
I recommend it to those of you that loved to be struck emotionally whilst reading as you will feel many kinds of emotion, good and bad.

Fantastic story with a happy ending!
|
Unlike "Damaged" where poor Jodie can only look forward to people trying to take care of her after all she has been through, this book has a Happy ending! I have found it quite different from the horrendous abuse that Jodie suffered in "DAMAGED" I still couldnt put the book down till I had read it from cover to cover, and again I found the tears falling till I couldnt see out of my glasses!! It is a fantastic read and so different from "Damaged" which made me cry for a different reason! I cant wait for Cathy to release her next book!!!

I first read 'Damaged' by Cathy and i was so drawn in and amazed by her work, then i heard about 'Hidden' and i was straight online to buy it, this book has to be one of the best books i have ever read along with 'Damaged' it really shows people what goes on in life.
Cathy is an inspiration and i can't wait for future books.

Another great book

Sometimes second books by an author can be a disappointment, but not so here. I was completely engrossed from the start, and would recommend it to everyone. If you only ever read one memoir, read Hidden (then you will want to read Damaged). An incredible book by an incredible woman, looking forward to the next book. Although it is a memoir it reads like a gripping thriller, and you hold your breath as the story unfolds. And it's all true!

Cathy Glass does not disappoint with her second book.
After reading Damaged, I knew I should finish all chores before opening the first page of Hidden. A wise move, I couldn't put it down.
The story of Tayo, really pulls at the heart strings. We learn of the plight this child has endured over the years before being placed with Cathy, his carer. This little boy shows great strength, but at the same time is in turmoil as to which way his future will go.
A well written book. I look forward to Cathy's next story.
