Toy is cheap, story is old and tired

The toy is not the best quality and the story isn't either.
This is selling on the sentimentality of parent with fond memories of listening to this story being read to them as they were tucked up in bed.
Children's books have moved on and gotten loads better. This is old fashioned in style and content.
