This book and tape combination is superb. I bought it for my four your old (being a lifelong fan of Mr Mayall myself) who loves Dr Seuss and have taught him how to turn a cassette over for himself so that he now listens to it over and over again! He even 'read' us the entire book from cover to cover yesterday, including the additional sound effects provided by Rik! How wonderful to get a child into books, with such enthusiasm, and reward his interest with the ability to recite the whole thing independently! Watch out for V and the cracking accent for the letter Zee (that's Zed, we are reliably informed by RiK, and my son!) wonderful!!

Brilliant, zany, great way to learn

I bought this book for my 2 year old for christmas, as he has a little trouble with his abc's (but then he is only 2!). But in the few days we've had the book, he has learnt nearly ALL his abc's. he absolutely loves it, and he has wanted to read it every day! It's bright, colourfull and funny and has definately prooved to me that it's a great way to learn. A must for any toddler!

Fantastic learning and fun for youngsters

I purchased this for a family member. Reading this to her was fun both reading and seeing the intrest she showed and her understanding from this simple but educational short book. Dr Seuss's books are a must for any young child!

Fantastic way of getting kids to learn the alphabet!

I learnt my A-Z from this book, and still remember all the rhymes, and nonsense. Now my kids are learning the same way, and seem to be equally entertained. Make sure to buy the long edition, the mini hardback looses alot of the effect.
