Surreal alphabet adventure
When Mog misbehaves at Debbie's birthday party, she skulks away in disgrace and falls asleep under the table. Her dreams lead us on a surreal journey through the alphabet, but all ends well when she awakes in time for Debbie's birthday trip to the zoo. This is a great alternative to the usual 'A is for apple, B is for ball' type of alphabet books. The story keeps children involved and encourages frequent reading, whilst the wonderful illustrations mean that a number of unfamiliar words are painlessly absorbed into the child's vocabulary.

Surreal alphabet journey

When Mog causes mayhem at Debbie's birthday party, she skulks away in disgrace and falls asleep under the table. Her dreams take her on a surreal journey through the alphabet, before she awakes to join Debbie and her friends at the zoo. This is a great book to make learning letters more exciting than just A for apple, B for ball etc., as toddlers see it as a story rather than just a learning exercise. The illustrations are delightful, and help introduce a number of unfamiliar words painlessly.
