Bridges the usefulness gap between Pocket and Complete
|
Once one gets above novice level in learning French there arises the dictionary problem. In the office one has a Collins-Robert full edition but for everyday use one needs something lighter. Pocket and Gem editions are never really satisfactory for anything but novice use. This particular dictionary seems to fit the gap nicely. It is small enough to carry with you on a day to day basis but just comprehensive enough to be useful for the slightly more advanced user. Presentation is good and just enough career specific words are included to be useful.

Great for your GCSE's.

This is a super dictionary for students who are taking their GCSE's. It has been cleared to be taken into the french exam and is really useful in the writing exam. There a lots of useful phrases- some of which you can lift straight from the book and put into your writing- and also verb tables so you won't have to learn all the irregulars off by heart. A better buy than the Collin's Easy Learn!
