A book to pass on to future generations

This is a stunningly beautiful and informative book. As well as being a faithful record of an era now gone, it provides a fascinating insight into a deeply important area of British history. This book is superbly written, and the quality of the production and photographs is second to none. Everyone interested in British Constitutional history, and even those not very interested will not fail to want to continue reading when this book falls open. I highly recommend it, both as an important addition to a collection of good books, and as one to pass on to children and grandchildren to remind them of a heritage soon to be lost.
