At first I wasnt sure whether this would be one of those broad topic but low detail books, but upon purchasing this title I was pleasantly surprised. It contains a good degree of detail on a wide range of pets: reptiles, amphibians, chelonolia and invertebrates are all covered. If you are looking for an exotic pet, but would like to read up on your options, this is the book for you.
